How the process works
How we automate your home?
Your AutoOpti hub, is programmed with a range of automated modules that you choose. For example the wake up routine consists of lighting, heating, music and entertainment modules which you're able to customise for your home. These modules assist your routines, they are customisable and can incorporate any of the modules listed.
Initial Consultation
You book an initial consultation with us.
During this consultation we discuss your daily routines and learn more about you, and your family life. We learn more about you and your architect and how your journey has been with them. We learn more about your aspirations for your home renovation project, and what progress has been made. After learning more about you we're able to propose routines that may suit you and how they can improve your life.
The Design Process
When you appoint us after your initial consultation. We then prepare an outline design of the proposed routines and have a meeting with you and your architect to set these out in the locations you want. Together we select the hardware in each room and the style of the finishes. We work alongside you and your architect so we’re able to programme your routines perfectly for you.
Finalising your design package
Once the design criteria is agreed upon, we prepare a Tender Package for your contractors. This is coordinated with the architect and we select each of the modules needed to run the routines as well as all of the hardware. This is set out on drawings and a pricing schedule is created so you know how much this is going to cost. We specify what an electrician does and does not need to do for the system. All goes quiet with AutoOpti until roughly two months before the electrician is due to start on site.
Programming
A few months before the install date for AutoOpti into your home, we buy all the hardware and begin programming. You don't need to do anything whilst we code out the routines and set up the hardware ready for delivery.
Your Install date
On your install date, we provide all the products to your builders. At this stage your builders will install your modules such as lighting and heating.
Setting up your AutoOpti hub
Your smart home is now ready and it can now start being enjoyed. You can use the app to make small adjustments to the system. In the first months, contact us with any settings you want to change to make the system work better for you and your family.
Update us
We understand that your life is always changing. Whether you’ve repurposed your room, changed your commute, or your children have gone to university, contact us we can either update your existing system or we can provision you with new hardware that works for your new routine.
